First Tour of Duty with Lockheed Martin

I don't really want to consider how much time I really have left here, but there is little that keeps it from mind when people ask how much time is left on your tour.

So, my first tour with Lockheed Martin and CMC is coming to a close soon. I'm not looking forward to returning to a city so much smaller than this one. I'm not looking forward to being back in classes, and I'm not really looking forward to my warm adventures coming to an end. I don't want to have to say good bye to everyone who has aided in my dreams coming true. I don't want to know that in less than a month, I will walk out of LM12 and not return about 3 months. I have already said good bye to two of the guys that made this tour memorable. (Okay, so maybe its just the lunchs that I'll remember their crazy asses from, but still!)

Anyways. There is so much left unadventured. So much left unexplored. So many things I wanted to try but never got around to, because sometimes you just need a weekend to sleep.

This coming weekend is a day at the Rodeo! www.hlsr.com will give you details of how large this Rodeo really is down here! I will get to see Trace Adkins (he's always been a favorite of mine) and the rodeo bits and the livestock show!

Things I'd like to try to fit into my adventures on this tour:
Ballet - week night after work
Opera - Week night after work
Houston Museum of Fine Arts - Thurday after work
Memorial Park - weekend day
Zoo - Saturday Morning
Rice Village - any night - shops, bars, arts, etc
Austin (for the live music and quite night life that goes with) - a whole weekend
and another night at the Rodeo
Kaloches for Breakfast again!
