The weekend ... was not what I wished it could be.
Friday, I'm pretty sure some guy in the truck a lane over was whistling at me. I'm serious. The first time I looked over he was looking between his seats back at me. Then when I looked back at the next light he was still trying to get my attention. Lights changed and I drove away bewildered.
Mr. Hoover really liked the Salsa Stoopid. He actually ate a small spoon full. And then stood there fighting the tears. But he was really excited about it. He loves hot things I guess. I didn't get to catch all the teachers I wanted too. I didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked with a few of them.
Hung out with Christina and JR for a bit on Friday. Avoided all homework...
Saturday, I did basically nothing. I didn't wake up early enough to get a new tire. I didn't get up early enough to take my baby over to the vet. I did pluck some hair from one of the older girls in the barn and let her run the yard for a bit. We went to see "Lakeview Terrace" the new Samuel L. Jackson movie. I'm not sure I heard him say 'Mother fucker' once. I do recommend the movie though! I discovered how much I really do enjoy the music by Blessid Union of Souls.
Sunday, well ... slept in again. And now I'm finishing the homework due tomorrow. I promised myself I wouldn't be doing homework last minute all the time. So far, I've broken that promise. I have a Circuits Exam on Wednesday. And a Kin&Dyn of Machines Exam on Friday.
The baby is getting so big! She really playful and left me with a couple of new scars this weekend. I've been scratched and bitten. But I'm gonna miss her all the same again. She's so much like Sweetie its scary ... I've already made the mistake once this weekend of calling her by the wrong name. And I was the one that brought the family to the attention that I hadn't seen Katie all weekend. Seems they can't recall seeing her in the past few weeks. Looks like she's gone missing. And she was one of the best cats we had.... so maybe i wish the weekend would have gone differently ... there were people I wanted to see but didn't. And well ... I guess it goes on.
